This FAQ page was built for your convenience to answer some of the questions we get asked most often about website design, marketing and hosting. Please feel free to contact us any time with your questions.

How long does it take to complete a website?

For a small website we can design and go live within 2-4 weeks. Larger websites typically take longer due to the amount of information which needs to be inserted, formatted, etc. . A detailed timeline will be provided in every web design proposal.

Do you use templates to design your websites?

We do not use templates. All of our websites are individually designed to reflect each client’s needs and to achieve their goals. Every site is coded from scratch and optimized with specific keywords and phrases. This approach will give your website the greatest opportunity for success in terms of it’s ability to rank highly in the search engines and to convert anonymous visitors visitors into leads.

Do you charge a monthly fee for maintaining a website?

The only recurring fees our clients are required to pay are for hosting and domain registration. Our design fees are flat fees. If you require regular monthly maintenance of your website, we do offer maintenance agreements.

Will I be able to update my website after you develop it?

For website edits on standard static websites we recommend our clients to purchase Adobe Contribute. This program allows you to implement edits through a web browser without affecting coding. You would purchase it yourself and install the program on your personal computer. We also offer training sessions in the program via a WebEx. Please visit this link for more information.

We also build websites on the WordPress CMS platform if a web based Content Management System CMS is preferred.

What is WordPress?

WordPress is an open source blog solution. It is often used as a content management system (CMS). It has many features and plug-ins written by the open source community and runs on templates which are highly customizable.
